P.J.. Crops

Every Friday night we host a P.J. Crop. That doesn't mean P.J.s are required. It simply means you come comfortable and ready to work (play). No need to worry about dinner it is served. We also have fun with a make-n-take.

This little prince charming is my grandson, Linken. He is so sweet. We made the frog side of this layout at the all day crop in May. The Co-ordinating layouts for our make-n-take are kitted and ready for purchase. My little prince charming seem to be a hit. I ordered more product and I am taking orders for this kit. Just send me an email if you would like me to make one for you.

It is so fun for me to sit and crop with you all. I look forward to each all day crop and P.J. Crops. Thanks girls for supporting me

Millie designed this layout for this past P.J. Crop. We had a great time and we loved having our drop-in guests. Our door is always open for anyone who want to stop and chat or sit and scrap! No special dinner receipt this week, we just had barbecue chicken, corn on the cob and a fruit salad. (Thanks Annette for the sonic run and the yummy gooey cake)

Happy scrapp'n my friends!

Weekly Layout

Happy Memorial Day. I pray you all have a safe day with family and friends. I am so grateful for those who served and sacrificed so we can live. You are always in my heart and make me proud to be an American.

This weeks Weekly Layout was designed by Debra Hensley. She is a rep for the Angle Company and is very talented. She know so many amazing stamping techniques. If stamping is your thing you will want to join her in her class. You can meet her and more fun teachers at my Scrapp'n Sampler June 18th and 19th. Save your seat today.

Creating is my passion- Creating a marriage of 25 years with my dear sweet husband. Creating a family with my two beautiful children. Creating love, happiness and joy. Creating memories. I thrive on creativity! I feel blessed to be able to take that love of creating and channel it to my enthusiasm for stamping and scrapping. Join me in my class, Stamped with Love, as we focus on creating using stamps, inks and fun techniques. Beautiful homemade cards will be the main focus but we will also branch out and do fun projects and the occasional Scrapbook page! Hope to help your creativity blossom as we journey down the road of life together.

Thanks Debra!

Weekly Layout

This Weekly Layout was designed by Susan McKinney

You just can't help but love Susan McKinney. I like to call her Polly. If you know the Disney Movie Pollyanna and Susan you can directly see the connection. Susan can and will always find something to be glad about. She has a way of inspiring you not only with paper crafts but life! I am excited to have her part of the Scrapp'n Savvy Team. She will be sharing more about the Savvy Swaps at the Scrapp'n Sampler scheduled June 18th and 19th be sure to reserve a spot in one of the 7 sessions.

The first Savvy Swap was held on May 15th and was a ton of fun. It was a card exchange. The next Savvy Swap will be held at Scrapp'n Savvy on Saturday, June 12, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We are Swapping Tags. Tags are great to add to a layout, use as a card or make them into a fun mini book.
For guidelines on the tag swap you can call Scrapp'n Savvy or email me at karrie.allen @gmail.com
You can sign up for the swap (class) today on the Scrapp'n Savvy blogspot.
This month's "theme" is TAGS.

We will try to have a "swap" on the second (2nd) Saturday of every month, but there will be some exceptions, so just watch the calendar.

Our "swappin" idea's are endless, so come to class with idea's, on projects you want to exchange.

July "swaps" will be a CHRISTMAS IN JULY, 8 x 8 scrapbook page. Scrapp'n Savvy will be ordering a Christmas line of paper and embellishments, so you will need to pre-purchase items from this line(from Scrapp'n Savvy)so that when you do your "swap" pages,
the album will all match. Just think, at the completion on the July class, you will go home with a COMPLETED 8 x 8 album!!!!

I am excited about this new endeavor...look forward to see all of you soon..

P.J. Crop

I love P.J. Crops. It is like having a party every Friday night. It is fun for me seeing my Dad and husband working together to create a wonderful meal. Of coarse mom is always there to help as well. She is my rock! It has been requested that I post the P. J. make-n-take as well as the recipe for dinner.

Well this past Friday I gave them all a challenge to take an ordinary pre-made We R Memory Keepers layout and transform it into something extraordinary.

To those that took on the challenge I give you my applauds! Whoot, Whoot! Job well done!

As for dinner we had Cheese Chicken
6 easy steps and an hour later . . . "bon appetite"

1. Cut raw chicken breast into small bit size pieces and lay them on the bottom of a 9"x13" pan.
2. Cover the chicken with American cheese slices.
3. Mix together 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup 4oz of scour cream and 1/2 cup of milk.
4. Spread soup mix onto cheese
5. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
6. Spread Stove Top Stuffing over the top and return to the oven for 10 minutes.

Serve over a bed of steamed rice.

Thanks girls for making Fridays so fun.

Gather your friends together and reserve a P.J. Crop girls nite out for you! We would love to have you.

You can sign your Scrapp'n Tot up right here on the blog or call Scrapp'n Savvy. The Camp is designed for those scrappers ages 6-11. It is one week long. They will meet for two hours each day and will complete a 8"x 8" Family Fun Album. Each camper will receive a fun t-shirt. Watch for more details
