Oh What fun!
It wouldn't be a Friday night crop at Scrapp'n Savvy without a yummy dinner. Aunt Paula, I mean "Aunt Mae" has done it again. This is a must have soup!
German Country Soup
Created by Scrapp’n Savvy’s Aunt Mae
8 good size russet potatoes boiled and cubed
3 ribs celery diced
2-3 carrots, thinly slice
4-5 cups baby spinach leaves
1 small sweet onion diced (optional)
3-4 cloves garlic, minced fine
16oz smoked sausage, cooked and cubed
64 oz cream cheese
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp salt (to taste)
Few drops of liquid smoke
½ paprika
Put all ingredients in a large crock pot. Cook on high for at least 6 hours. To thicken you can all ¾ cup of instant potato flakes. (Optional)
