Pop and Cuts are coming. . . .

I can't wait to get my hands onto those Pop and Cut dies.  I have decided that all my cards will be interactive because I want my grand kids to get excited when they get a card from me.  Huge goal I know.  I am hoping Pop and Cuts will make it that much easier.

I have learned so much from Karen Burniston and I just want to learn more.  She posted this awesome card idea using her Bigz Flip up Flower and Celebrate Sizzlet set.

Today's Daily Deal . . .

All Sizzix dies are 25% off.  Yes I do have the dies featured in this video.

More ways to with that signed Vagabond!
You will get 1 ticket for every $20 spent towards the Vagabond Drawing this weekend.
Post your graduation card creation on Scrapp'n Savvy's Facebook page for another ticket!

More CE Fun!

Jenaye and Kelli Collins shared their flower making skills. These flowers were so much fun to make.

Janet Hopkins taught some fun techniques as we made this shadow box. I really loved the idea and wanted to be able to hang this in my room so I spent a good portion of the class in the store buying product to change the colors to match my room. Thanks Janet for a super fun class. I hope to be able to sweet talk her into coming down to teach a Scrapp'n Savvy.

I skipped out on a class to spend some time at the pool with Linken and his great parents. I so wish I could have more time with him so he could get to know his grandma in Texas and how much I love him. Being a grandma is amazing, being a long distant grandma stinks!

My niece Heidi did a great job and had some fun techniques to share in making her famous totally Heidi big signs.

Another favorite and you will bet that we will be playing with this concept some more at Scrapp'n Savvy. Amy is not only super talented but super fun teacher. It is a treat to be in any class Amy teaches.

It was time for closing and we always start the last dinner with dessert first. Yum! This dessert looked so pretty I just had to take a picture.

Tons of prizes given away and Margie was the MC. So super funny! I can't wait to see what Bazzill and Margie come up with in the next release. With Margie on the team I know it will be fantastic. She got her start working with Marti at her store. I loved attending her class then. Her teaching style is a hoot and her creativity is fantastic. You go girl!!!!

Heidi was the keynote speaker to close the event. Very fitting beings that Creative Escape was Heidi's idea. She shared some touching stories and made us all feel good about what we do as paper crafters.

You know it is truly over when you see the bell boys helping every one down to the shipping area. Yes it looks like my good friend Karen and Melanie had a great time again this year. HeHeHeHe. . .

You know "Mr Bazzill" always says, "Ship home the clothes and pack the projects and product.

What a fun six years. It didn't matter if I was working as a volunteer or attending as a student. I loved every minute of this event. Thanks Bazzill crew and Heidi!

Weekly Layout!

I designed this layout after celebrating my parents 51st wedding anniversary. I think they are so charming. I am so gratefully for all they do for me. Not only have they been great examples of how to live and travel in this earthly journey but they are my friends and their faith in me helps me strive to be the best daughter, wife, mother and friend I can be. I hope you enjoy the layout. You can purchase this two page 12x12 kit for $14.00 at scrappnsavvy.com

I look forward to seeing you this weekend at the Scrapp'n Sampler.

Until then . . . Happy Scrapp'n

P.J. Crop plus alittle bit more!

My friday started with a day crop with all of my Creative Escape Savvy Scrappers. These gals came to Creative Escape with me this year. The day was planned so we could gather after Creative Escape to share pictures and finish projects.
The day took an turn of events when my mom called from the new location asking me to come take a picture of their new findings. It seems the ceiling was being held up by a coke can. Crazy!

Well they all wanted to see the making of Scrapp'n Savvy (mom wasn't to thrilled -hehehehe-)
So they had a taste of our version of Extreme Makeover. I is still a big mess yet I think they all could see our vision. Kurtis took a picture of us out on the walk way dad built so you all could have and easier time getting you stuff to the door.

The P.J. Crop was a delight. We had a visitor from England and friends reconnected after several months of no contact. I love how the common intrest in paper crafting can and does create life long friendships. For dinner we had. . .

Weekly Layout!

This adorable layout was designed by Lisa Dolan. She teaches the Quick and Easy class here at Scrapp'n Savvy. As you can see by this layout she can kick it up a notch but her philosophy is still, "we live in a digital world, we have more pictures and less time, so lets make our layouts Quick and Easy". Her next class is August 28 at 10:00 am. For $15.00 you will make three adorable 12" x 12" scrapbook pages. You can sign up for her class on my Scrapp'n Savvy website. or check back on my blog Wednesday and you can learn how you can win a free class from your favorite teacher here at Scrapp'n Savvy!

Thanks to all who sent sweet comments and thoughts our way. We felt your love and support during this time when the loss of a loved one is heavy on our minds and in our heart. We are so grateful for your friendship.

Happy Scrapp'n my good friends!

Bell Peppers
Pineapples
Cheese
Green Onions
Olives
Coconut
To make the Broth:
Dump 1lb of chicken, 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 8oz of sour cream and a 1/2cup of milk in a crock pot. Let cook for 2-3hrs or until creamy.
Prepare Your Plate:
Make a bed of Chinese Noodles topped with rice. Then put the creamy chicken broth on top of the rice and noodles. Afterwards put a little of each topping over the chicken and rice mixture. Once you have your toppings on, Enjoy!

Bon Appetite!
